It’s fairly common knowledge that in order to safely maintain their
unchallenged domination, authoritarian leaders in places like Russia, China,
and North Korea tend to make it rather difficult for the citizens of the
country they control to own or even have access to guns.
Would it then be unreasonable to expect a slightly more unhinged authoritarian, say one who, in a paranoid anticipation of the day the angry MAGA masses finally realize they’ve been played for suckers and begin storming the gates of his country club, to take things a bit further?
Sources close to the campaign have recently suggested
that our own Day-One-Only Dictator has a secret plan to, should he again find
himself in a position of power, one-up his pen-pals, nix the 2nd
Amendment, and use the military to confiscate all privately owned firearms.
